Officine Panerai’s Nagoya Boutique, the second boutique in Japan following Ginza boutique moved to a new location on Hisaya Ohdori, the main street in the heart of Nagoya city. The boutique overlooks the lush greenery of Hisaya Ohdori Park which was one of the venues of the EXPO 2005 Aichi Japan with a theme of "Nature's Wisdom." Hisaya Ohdori Park is an oasis which stretches for 2 km north to south through the center of Nagoya. The new Nagoya boutique provides openness and relaxed sense of time. The boutique offers customers and fans a sleek, elegant setting to enjoy and purchase the models of the Officine Panerai collections as well as the rarest special editions of the Italian fine watch making company. The new boutique is characterized by an Italian design concept inspired by the sea, the element which has always accompanied the history of Panerai watches. Porthole-shaped display panels, shop windows that take on the shape of ocean waves and furnishing details that echo diving suits and divers’ equipment all are reminiscence of the sea. Panerai’s Nagoya boutique features a large wall clock that displays on a grand scale one of the distinctive features of Officine Panerai watches: the “sandwich” structure of the dial, in which two superimposed layers enclose the Super-LumiNova® that forms the markers and numerals.
