Officine Panerai is main partner of the Triennale Design Museum for “O’Clock – time design, design time”, the remarkable exhibition that until 8th January will display the works of international designers and artists who have interpreted and represented one of the fundamental themes of our culture, that of Time, offering visitors diverse viewpoints and creative inspirations in a setting that skilfully blends irony and poetry, creating a true “journey through time”.
The curator of the exhibition is renowned designer and architect Patricia Urquiola, who also created for Officine Panerai the installation “I mondi di Officine Panerai” (the worlds of Officine Panerai) in which eight models by the Florentine Brand recount, first hand, the design of the Panerai watch. On the occasion of the exhibition "O'Clock - time design, design time", British artist Damien Hirst premiered two new works, created using the spin painting technique with dials from Panerai watches on canvas: Beautiful Sunflower Panerai Painting and Beautiful Fractional Sunflower Panerai Painting.
